Julian Assange has been the apple of many Governing Bodies eye’s, for the wrong reasons! Hollywood has also taken a fancy for him. Assange as a character has intrigued many worldwide. The real life character has been portrayed by none other than Benedict Cumberbatch, who recently shot to fame with his character portrayal of ‘Sherlock Holmes’. Directed by Bill Condon, the first look of the movie is a stunner!

Mr. Benedict ‘Sherlock’ Cumberbatch almost nails the accent and the smallest details of the real Julian Assange.  As we all know, he is a great actor and betting on the big league of actor’s. He is one thing you should watch his movie for.  Another reason this movie is intriguing is that it is a glimpse of his lifes’ ‘episode’. Right from his rise – being called a visionary to his fall – being called an unethical journalist.

This movie is based in part on Domscheit-Berg’s book Inside WikiLeaks: My Time with Julian Assange and the World’s Most Dangerous Website, as well as WikiLeaks: Inside Julian Assange’s War on Secrecy by British journalists David Leigh and Luke Harding. Although, as per reports the script was shared with Assange and he reacted by saying that it is a “serious propaganda attack on WikiLeaks and the integrity of its staff, as a ‘lie built upon a lie'”, and as “fanning the flames for war on Iran”.

Therefore, if you have followed the man very closely you may not agree to a couple of things in the movie but we think, from this trailer, that the movie is worth a watch for the sheer joy of seeing the portrayal of Julian Assange as a character and for experiencing the cinema in it.
