Trailer Review: Dilwale – Too much happening on screen, but hits you on the right places!

The wait for one of the most awaited films of the year is finally over! The theatrical trailer of Rohit Shetty’s soon to be released, multi-starer – Dilwale was released last evening. There is so much excitement around this film, that I wasn’t really thinking to do a trailer review. But when King Khan himself asked me how I liked the Dilwale trailer, I just had to do this 🙂

The trailer doesn’t reveal much, but I thought that there is too much happening on the screen. Maybe the makers wanted to highlight that the film will tick all the right boxes to become a blockbuster – Romance, Action, Drama & Comedy.

I got a little feeling that I was watching a sequel of K3G. With Kajol-SRK’s sizzling chemistry in a ‘Suraj Hua Maddham‘ kind of background and SRK giving love lessons to his younger brother, Varun Dhawan. Varun, as the younger brother, is totally devoted to his bhai, so much so that he is not even afraid to lose his ladylove (Kriti Sanon) for him. K3G had everything that a good film should have, and I’m looking forward to this one, which has an added advantage called ‘Rohit Shetty’.

Loaded with Rohit Shetty’s signature car-nama and two hot romantic couples, the Dilwale trailer definitely hits you on the right places. The film is slated to release on December 18, 2015 and will clash with Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s magnum opus, Ranver Singh and Deepika Padukone starrer – Bajirao Mastani. This is going be one epic clash, no?
